What to expect from viu

Select one Viu episode and retain the region, language and media ID in its original address. A playlist or show listing is a navigation page, not a complete-series download.

Viu availability can depend on territory, subscription and playback protection. IOdown cannot transfer app access or a paid account, and does not bypass DRM.

Recorded viu download checks

No completed production download test for viu is recorded in our published evidence. A catalog entry or URL example does not establish that a download works.

Records describe individual requests to the public IOdown service. A checked MP4 header is not a full-file test; a matching byte count does not prove every frame plays. Local development results are excluded. No fresh test was performed for this guide update.

2. Select Get video and read the progress or error shown. A request may fail even when the source plays in your browser.
3. When a file is ready, preview it and compare it with the original before choosing Download MP4.

Check the result before saving

Confirm the episode title, running time and spoken language. Separately selectable subtitles or alternate audio in Viu are not automatically included in the MP4.

The available compatible media is packaged in MP4. IOdown does not upscale it, recreate missing audio or remove source watermarks.

Find the saved file on your device

Choose Download MP4 before the expiry time shown with the result. On iPhone or iPad, check the browser downloads and Files app; on Android, check Downloads in your file manager. On a computer, use the browser’s downloads list. If the file opens in a player, use its save action.

Resolve common viu problems

The episode is unavailable in the downloader

Check the original episode and any regional or subscription notice. Playback in your signed-in app does not establish access from the download service.

The saved file has no subtitles

Viu can serve captions separately from video. This form does not provide a separate subtitle export; inspect the preview before relying on a captioned offline copy.

For an expired output file, request the original item again only if it is still accessible. For a source access error, follow the specific message before retrying.
