STEP-BY-STEP DOWNLOAD GUIDE
From a link to your files. How to save a video from NBCSports VPlayer
Downloads from NBCSports VPlayer are currently unavailable in IOdown. The workflow below explains how saving normally works when support is available; retrying now will not fix the known incompatibility.
Copy the NBCSports VPlayer video link
Copy the full HTTPS page URL for an individual item on NBCSports VPlayer. Use the original media page rather than a search, profile, or collection page. Open the individual video first, then copy its page address from your browser or its sharing options. Confirm that it is the item you want to save.
Paste the link and request the file
The Get video action is disabled while NBCSports VPlayer downloads are unavailable. Check the link guide below or choose another supported tool.
Preview and save the MP4
When a file is ready, play the preview and check its duration and sound. Choose Download MP4 before the displayed expiry time. Locate the file in your browser’s downloads list or your device’s Files or Downloads folder.
Check the original NBCSports VPlayer page and the preview before saving. A saved file contains the accessible media, not the surrounding page or comments. Availability and quality depend on the source.
How to save on iPhone, Android or desktopWhy won’t my NBCSports VPlayer download work?
START WITH THE RIGHT LINK
Choose the right NBCSports VPlayer link
This NBCSports VPlayer video downloader works with individual media-page links. Copy the full HTTPS page URL for an individual item on NBCSports VPlayer. Use the original media page rather than a search, profile, or collection page. A page listing several items does not tell the downloader which file you want, so open the item itself before copying its address.
Use the page where the NBCSports VPlayer video actually plays. A thumbnail, search result or profile can look relevant without exposing the video itself. If the page embeds media from another host, that host also controls access. A valid page address does not guarantee an accessible media file.
| Page type | URL or starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Individual video page | Open an item from vplayer.nbcsports.com | Copy the full HTTPS page URL for an individual item on NBCSports VPlayer. Use the original media page rather than a search, profile, or collection page. |
Find the original media on NBCSports VPlayer, then copy the individual item’s link.

NBCSports VPlayer downloads: format, quality and watermarks
Source quality, not upscaling
Resolution depends on the versions the source provides. IOdown does not turn a low-resolution upload into HD or 4K. Missing or muted source audio cannot be recreated by downloading it.
No IOdown watermark added
The tool does not add its own branding to the file. Logos, captions and watermarks already embedded in the source remain. Downloading is different from editing or removing a watermark.
FROM THE BROWSER TO YOUR DEVICE
Save NBCSports VPlayer videos on your phone or computer
Keep this page open until processing finishes. Preview the result, then choose Download MP4 before the expiry time shown next to the file.
iPhone or iPad
Use your browser’s download action when the file opens. Check the browser’s downloads list and the Files app. If the share menu offers Save Video for a compatible video, you can also save it to Photos. Audio-only MP4 files belong in Files or an audio player.
Android
Confirm the browser’s download prompt, then check Downloads in your file manager. A saved video may also appear in your gallery. If it only opens in a player, use the browser or player menu to save the file.
Windows or Mac
Choose Download MP4 and use the browser’s download list to locate the file. If a player opens instead, use its save action. Keep the .mp4 extension and open the result in a compatible media player.
WHEN A LINK DOES NOT WORK
NBCSports VPlayer download troubleshooting
Start with this NBCSports VPlayer check
NBCSports VPlayer downloads are currently unavailable. Changing the link or retrying will not resolve a known service incompatibility. You can still use this guide to identify an individual media page and explore the other tools below.
- The link is rejected
- Use the full HTTPS page URL for one media item. Remove surrounding share-message text, but keep the media ID and any required query parameters. A profile, search page or direct file link is not the same as a media page.
- The source refuses access
- A public page can still be restricted by region, login requirements or server access checks. Your browser session is not shared with IOdown. Follow the specific error shown instead of repeatedly submitting the same link.
- Processing takes longer than expected
- Check whether progress is still moving. Long recordings and slow source hosts take more time. If the service asks you to wait because it is busy, wait before creating another request.
- The download link expired
- Prepared files are temporary. Submit the original media-page link again to request a new copy, provided the source is still accessible. The expiry shown with the result is the time to follow.
